Itinerary of Classic Nepal In Detail.

Days 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel for overnight. The rest of the day is ours to relax.

Days 02 : A sightseeing tour to rich with cultural and artistic heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley, dramatic monkey temple for great valley views, visit Pashupatinath, join the Tibetan community at Bohdnath stupa and try to catch a glimpse of the living Goddess in Durbar Square

Days 03 - 09 : Helambhu Trek: To the north of Kathmandu lies what was once a sacred and hidden land and remains today as a charming and undeveloped area. This is a land of diversity where steeply cut rice terraces and deep green valleys give way to sparsely populated forests of oak and rhododendron, set against a distant horizon of mountain peaks. It is also the home of Tamangs and Sherpas, friendly and hospitable people with strong family and cultural ties. The trek takes you from the fields of the lowlands where hand made tools and water buffalo are still used, past picturesque monasteries and brightly painted gomptas, to remote mountain villages. Though our walk crosses a wide range of elevation we do not exceed 3500 metres, so acclimatisation should not be a problem. Starting from Sundarijal our journey takes us to the delightful Tamang village of Gulbhanjyang, past the streams and meadows of Tharepati, the Sherpa Village of Tarke Gyang and finally Melamchi. Accommodation during the trek is at simple village tea houses

Days 10 - 11 : Leaving Melamchi by bus we travel to the Kathmandu Valley and the timeless city of Bhaktapur. This is an atmospheric town of beautiful temples and palaces. Stroll the narrow lanes beneath traditional Newari wooden houses or sit in one of the many squares and become part of an authentic Nepali experience

Days 12 - 13 : High on a ridge above the Pokhara Highway lies the little known trading village of Bandipur. Be prepared for simple lodgings and food, but more importantly the genuine friendliness of the locals and the simply stunning views of the Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges. We explore the local countryside and visit Siddha Gupha, Nepal's largest cave.

Days 14 - 15 : Transferring by jeep to Damauli we meet up with our crew of rafting experts who lead us safely through three days of river life. Perfect for learners and intermediaries, the Seti has plenty of easy rapids as you race through a green jungle corridor full of birdlife. The water is warm, the camping is on white sandy beaches and the food is plentiful

Days 16 - 18 : A last morning of rafting takes you to Narayanghat where a coach collects us and takes us to Royal Chitwan National Park. Covering over 1000 sq. km, this is Nepal痴 most famous park and offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Asia. Accompanied by expert park guides you walk through grasslands and then forest to overnight in the small village of Gatgai. Walking quietly in the forest allows us the best chance to see some of the park痴 fifty-one varieties of animals including the famous one horned rhinoceros

Days 19 - 20 : A bus returns us to Kathmandu for the early afternoon, leaving the rest of the day to explore more of this legendary city. The tour end and you're free to do more tour with us or go wherever you wish and plan or back to home.
