Mountain views,
remote villages, the Golden
Temple, Dharamsala, hill
stations of the Raj, farm stay.
This is a journey of the body
and the spirit as we travel
across the Punjab into the
foothills of the world's highest
mountains. These mystical lands
look and feel so very different
to the rest of India ・from the
food, the clothes and even the
look of the people, to the
crisp, |

clean mountain
air. We get out to walk along
the trails and tracks of the
shepherds, through forests,
valleys and remote villages and
all with a backdrop of
snow-capped mountain peaks. We
spend a couple of nights in a
farm stay, to enjoy traditional
rural life.
Everywhere we go there are the
holy places, from the small
wayside shrines to the glorious
Golden Temple of Amritsar and
the Tibetan monasteries of
Dharamsala, home to the Dalai
Lama |
